One company we helped had 2 administration staff who were severely overloaded with work and Management was contemplating employing a third person.
Amongst the workload were a few reports that took about 4 hours each to prepare every week plus a few others that took about an hour each.
We identified some double entry as well as a lot of manual calculating and analysis. We developed a process to do all the calculating and analyzing by the computer (which is what computers are good at). We linked to the data entered elsewhere in the company and automated these reports so that it only took a couple of minutes each to produce.
We greatly reduced their workload and prevented the need to put another person on – quite a saving!
Also because their existing employees are no longer overloaded, they are happier and less stressed.

How does the Process Work?
There are 2 parts to the process.

We do a survey (needs analysis) of your IT infrastructure including your hardware, network, internet and software. | |

We interview your employees to gather information on how your business operates (how a job comes in, how it is handled internally, and how you eventually invoice your customer, paper trail etc). |
We look for opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce labour and obsolete processes and systems. We can often remove double entry of data as well as automating many of your manual complex processes.
